The blockage of quench oil / dilution steam generator includes the polymer blockage of heat exchanger shell and the polymer blockage in process water pipeline of heat exchanger. This paper introduces the innovative treatment method for the blockage of quench oil / dilution steam generator in the SINOPEC-SK ethylene plant, discusses in detail the operation steps, and explains the effect.
