Ethylene Industry is an officially and openly distributed sci-tech journal approved by the General Administration of Press and Publications and the State Scientific and Technological Commission. It is supervised by China Petrochemical Corporation, sponsored by SINOPEC Engineering Incorporation and co-sponsored by China Ethylene Industry Association. Since its first publication in 1989, the journal has had great influence in the ethylene industry.

This journal mainly publishes the new achievements, new experiences and new progresses in the research, design and equipment manufacture, maintenance and repair, construction and installation centered on ethylene production technology and management, the technological transformation and the application of new processes, new equipment and new technologies for the purposes of energy saving, production increasing, consumption reduction and higher flexibility of ethylene plant, and the discussions and dynamic information of production control optimization, comprehensive utilization of co-products and by-products, treatment of waste gas, waste water and industrial residue, and safety production technology.

This journal is directed to ethylene plants, chemical plants, design institutes, research institutes, university libraries and professional institutes nationwide and the national library, with a circulation of about 3,000 copies.

In order to further promote the exchange of technology and product in the petrochemical industry, provide opportunities for the petrochemical enterprises, readers and manufacturers to understand each other and provide more advanced and reliable equipment and products for petrochemical enterprises, Ethylene Industry is now soliciting product advertisements. Ethylene Industry is published quarterly in the third month of each quarter, with four issues each year. The advertisement may be published either in a single issue or in four consecutive issues, and preferential prices are offered for year-round advertisement.
