This paper introduces the control of key points of the shutdown procedures for quenching system in ethylene plant during overhaul, analyzes the influence of key point control on the downtime of quenching system, puts forward some corresponding operation ideas and solutions to shorten the downtime of quenching system, and discusses the prevention of some risk points from shutdown to handover for overhaul.
